Ukrainian Immigration-related Legal Services

People evacuating from crisis in another country must take certain steps to legally remain in the United States for any length of time. The complex and time-consuming processes are challenging for people without law degrees, especially if they speak a different first language.

The Ukrainian Immigration-related Legal Services program helps people who have fled the war in& Ukraine to navigate procedures and build a better life.

WisTAF launched this effort in 2023, utilizing federal funds authorized by the United States Congress in 2022 and made available through the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families.
