Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts (IOLTA)

The Wisconsin Supreme Court created our first funding source, the Interest on Lawyers' Trust Accounts (IOLTA) program, at the same time it created WisTAF itself in 1986. 

WisTAF continues to oversee the IOLTA program. Our website offers more information about how IOLTA works to increase access to justice, as well as detailed instructions for financial institutions and law firms related to their participation in the program.
