Grant administration

WisTAF is the civil legal aid grant administrator established by the Wisconsin Supreme Court to "aid the courts in carrying on and improving the administration of justice."

We help make equal protection under the law a reality, rather than just an ideal.

Our highly focused mission means we bring decades of institutional knowledge and experience in:

  • fund oversight,
  • grant program development,
  • application solicitation and review,
  • grant reporting and outcomes measurement,
  • subrecipient risk assessment, monitoring, and evaluation, and
  • the civil legal aid field in Wisconsin.

WisTAF currently administers the grant programs you see on the left. Browse our website to learn more about the organizations we are funding, our policies and criteria, and how to apply. You can also sign up for email updates about grant opportunities.
