Wisconsin Law Help Portal

In 2022, the State of Wisconsin’s Department of Children and Families awarded $124,000 to WisTAF to work in collaboration with the civil legal aid community on a civil legal information and referral web portal. Using this website, Wisconsin residents will gain a better understanding of their civil legal issues and rights. They will also be able to find appropriate referrals for legal assistance. 

WisTAF participated in a planning and capacity-building phase in 2022 and released funding for the website development phase in 2023. The website is expected to be launched in late 2024 or early 2025. Development is being led by Judicare Legal Aid with additional funding provided by the federal Legal Services Corporation.
